The special premiere screening of “Hounds Hill” and other great events from Netflix, only during BNP Paribas Warsaw SerialCon!
On December 6, 2024, as part of a special screening, BNP Paribas Warsaw SerialCon audience members will watch, several months in advance, the first two episodes of Hounds Hill. This is an extremely highly anticipated series produced by Netflix, which is an adaptation of the book of the same name by Jakub Żulczyk. This is the second adaptation of the writer’s book after Blinded by The Lights, which reached cult following status. The author himself is also responsible for numerous scripts for series productions (including The Teacher and Still here).
Murder, lost people, spirits and local corruption – this is the town of Zybork. And in the middle of it all, a successful writer is forced to come back to his hometown, to realise how the importance of his past involvement in towns past events was – before he gets revealed by someone who tries to blackmail him. Hounds hill takes us on a journey to a claustrophobic place full of dark secrets, dense atmosphere and deeply running corruption.
The directors of the series are Jacek Borcuch and Piotr Domalewski, who also co-wrote the script with Żulczyk. Not much information about the upcoming production is available at this point, but what we do know for sure is that the producer is Izabela Łopuch, who has been responsible for very high-quality productions over the past two decades. The lead roles will be played by Mateusz Kościukiewicz as Mikołaj Głowacki, Jaśmina Polak as his wife Justyna and Robert Więckiewicz as Mikołaj’s father Tomasz.

The event is organized by OFF CAMERA Foundation in partnership with the capital city of Warsaw. The festival’s titular partner is BNP Paribas Bank.
