Premieres and pre-releases at BNP Paribas Warsaw SerialCon

If you are eager for the latest new releases, we have a whole lot of them for you! We will premiere the first two episodes of the series Śleboda (SkyShowtime original series), directed by Michał Gazda and Bartosz Blaschke. It’s a crime story in a mountainous setting, and starring roles will include Maria Debska, Maciej Musiał, Piotr Pak, Andrzej Chyra, Jan Englert, Tomasz Karolak, Magdalena Lamparska, Leszek Lichota, Helena Englert, Mateusz Janicki, Józef Pawłowski and Andrzej Zielinski. If you still can’t get enough after watching the mysteries, be sure to also watch the premiere of Black Daisies (CANAL+), directed by Mariusz Palej, with a truly stellar cast: Karolina Kominek, Dawid Ogrodnik, Tomasz Schuchardt, Alicja Wieniawa-Narkiewicz, Edyta Olszówka, Olaf Lubaszenko, Piotr Żurawski, Mirosław Zbrojewicz and Robert Gonera. The series was awarded in Cannes by Variety magazine.

Stroke directed by Rafał Skalski, Antonio Galdamez and Paweł Demirski, is an ultra-sensitive series about crisis, and how to deal with it. We will see in it, among others: Jacek Poniedziałek, Ewa Skibińska, Konrad Eleryk, Rafał Maćkowiak, Jan Sobolewski, Monika Frajczyk, Jerzy Bończak, Marta Malikowska, Marta Nieradkiewicz and Anna Seniuk. Or maybe you are interested in a sensational psychological thriller? If so, Maciej Migas’ Hostages is sure to hit your fancy! Starring: Magdalena Różczka, Leszek Lichota, Jan Englert, Piotr Adamczyk, Piotr Żurawski, Malwina Buss.

If you’re looking for an all-star cast, you’ll be pleased with The Day of the Jackal directed by Brian Kirk and starring Eddie Redmayne who plays the role of a paid killer who begins to be pursued by a British intelligence agent. Hounds Hill directed by Jacek Borcuch and Piotr Domalewski, based on a script by Jakub Żulczyk and Piotr Domalewski, will take the audience to Zybork, a small town full of dark secrets, where murders, disappearances and corruption add up to a claustrophobic, suffocating atmosphere. Starring roles will be played by Robert Więckiewicz, Mateusz Kościukiewicz, Jasmina Polak and Wojciech Zielinski.

EDUCATION XD directed by Lukasz Kosmicki, is the second season of EMIGRATION XD based on the Malcolm XD copypaste. The crazy story full of colorful characters and quotes that we have heard somewhere before, stays in the memory for a long time. The cast will include Tomasz Włosok, Michał Balicki, Jan Frycz, Sebastian Stankiewicz, Wojciech Mecwaldowski, Paweł Wilczak, Agnieszka Suchora and Andrzej Zielinski. And while we’re about second seasons, we also have for you the next season of Jacek Lusinski’s A moment of silence telling the further fate of Mieczyslaw Zasada and his funeral business. On the screens: Robert Więckiewicz, Piotr Rogucki, Aleksandra Konieczna, Aleksandra Poplawska, Karolina Bruchnicka, Adam Bobik.

If you’re looking for a valiant production that breaks out of all the rules, be sure to check out Bartosz Konopka’s Lady Love in which Anna Szymańczyk plays the role of Lucyna Lis, who escapes behind the Iron Curtain and becomes an adult film star. In addition to her, the series will feature, among others: Ralph Kaminski, Dorota Pomylika, Adam Woronowicz, Borys Szyc, Julian Swieżewski, Piotr Trojan, Michal Zurawski. And Scar with Alejandro Bazzano, Manuel Carballo and Miguel Ángel Vivas in charge of direction, is a Spanish thriller from the writers and director of Money Heist. Maciej Stuhr, known from “The Belfry,” will play one of the roles.
