Period Drama

Costume dramas form a bridge between history and imagination, becoming a tool of cultural dialogue. In this section, we will present the power of the period drama — a genre capable of recreating bygone worlds with extraordinary attention to detail, while posing contemporary questions against the backdrop of past eras. Costume here becomes a language of storytelling — revealing a character’s nature, status, and emotions. Though these series speak of centuries gone by, their rhythm and language remain close to the modern viewer; they blend tradition and modernity, spectacle and reflection. This section will feature, among others, Marie Antoinette and The Sentinels.
