A Minute of Silence (season 2, ep. 1, 2)

In Boża Wola, death is just the beginning. After the first season ended in a scandal and an assassination attempt, former enemies – Mietek Zasada (Robert Więckiewicz) and Jacek Wieczny (Piotr Rogucki) – are forced to join forces to survive. Jerzy Pazera (Grzegorz Wolf) arrives on their turf – an adversary who ruthlessly seeks to liquidate their businesses. The entrepreneur, known from the first season, is given an extraordinary opportunity. His stepson, Łukasz Wieczór (Kamil Szeptycki), becomes the new parish priest in Boża Wola. Thanks to this, Pazera, along with his life partner Wanda (Dorota Segda), the priest’s mother and the owner of the crematorium, perfectly expands the family empire by purchasing a wedding venue in Boża Wola. Step by step, he monopolizes the area, depriving both Zasada and Wieczny of their jobs.  
The second season of A MOMENT OF SILENCE brings new thrills, new pawns on the graveyard board, more blackmail, threats, secrets, and skeletons in the closet. And in the background, the funeral industry, which still remains a taboo subject. Robert Więckiewicz and Piotr Rogucki return in the lead roles. 
The first season received nominations for the Eagles and the Polish Screenwriters Guild Awards. It also enjoys one of the highest average ratings on Filmweb among Polish series, and critics unanimously declared that “there is no other production like it on Polish television.”
