Industry
The future belongs to series!
Pro Industry is an important and integral part of this year’s edition of BNP Paribas Warsaw SerialCon. This three-day event is extremely important for the film industry, the broadly understood audiovisual industry and the series production sector, during which producers, creators, broadcasters and streamers will be able to exchange experiences. We will discuss the most important trends, phenomena and topics that filmmakers are passionate about.
This year, during industry events, we will address the topic of series co-productions. We will look at the role of the showrunner and talk about new series production formats. In addition, there will be discussions on development in the broad sense, as well as the role of special effects in series post-production and original ways of expanding the series universe.
These are just some of the topics we would like to talk about. The programme will feature numerous meetings with creators and producers from Poland and abroad who are familiar with the realities of the audiovisual market and the challenges they face. Pro Industry is primarily a space for industry discussions. Every day, we will invite all participants to the networking brunch.
Pro Industry is also a platform connecting screenwriters with producers, so there will be plenty of pitching opportunities at PitchCon. PitchCon is an excellent opportunity for professional networking in a pleasant atmosphere. We invite screenwriters to participate – we have prepared 1:1 round table sessions for three consecutive days of the festival.
Participation in all Pro Industry events is provided by ‘Industry’ accreditation.
The partners of this year’s edition of Pro Industry are: StoryLab Pro, the National Chamber of Audiovisual Producers, Mazovia Warsaw Film Commission , and MAG Entertainment.
