Families Like Ours (ep. 1, 2)

The first series directed by Thomas Vinterberg, the Oscar-winning filmmaker behind Another Round, presents a harrowing portrayal of climate catastrophe and its impact on ordinary citizens. An ecological disaster forces the Danish population into a dramatic exodus from their homeland. Like a literal bolt from the blue, the idyllic Danish summer abruptly comes to an end. Rising sea levels can no longer be ignored, leading to the evacuation of the entire nation. All property becomes worthless, and families, friends, and lovers are forced to flee and separate. Fortune favors only a few.
