Teens

Teen dramas have a significant impact on shaping young people’s identities, attitudes, and social relationships. They can serve as sources of inspiration, knowledge, and support, encouraging critical thinking and exposing viewers to diverse perspectives. Often, it is through series that teenagers learn behavioral and relational models — both within families and among peers — and have the opportunity to confront difficult, often controversial topics such as addiction or violence. These series help normalize difference, promote acceptance of diversity, and offer an outlet for stress. Their multifaceted role cannot be overstated. In this section, we aim to address issues important to young audiences, unafraid to tackle taboo subjects. Screenings will be accompanied by interactive talks and discussions inspired by the themes explored in the series.
