A Moment of Silence (season 2, ep. 1, 2)

Boża Wola and Złotowo – two small towns, at first glance average and inconspicuous looking. However, over time it turns out that this small community is ruled by secrets hidden for years, by “closed systems” and conflicts, which make being honest increasingly difficult. The heroes of the sequel to A MOMENT OF SILENCE must find their way in this reality. Series tells the story of a postman from a small town who, right after retiring, is forced to make huge changes in his life.  

When Mieczysław Zasada’s (Robert Więckiewicz) best friend dies, the hero temporarily opens his own funeral business to bury a suicide victim. A series of events and small-town connections make this one-time situation turn into a regular business and an emotional rivalry with the local tycoon, Jacek Wieczny (Piotr Rogucki). In the new season, Zasada must cope with not only business difficulties, but also with a relationship full of understatements and tension caused by his disabled wife (Aleksandra Konieczna) and by adopted daughter, ironically called Synek – “Sonny” – (Karolina Bruchnicka).
